The Journal of Integrative Neuroscience is devoted to the publication of leading-edge research at the interface of theoretical and experimental neuroscience, focusing across hierarchical levels of brain organization to better understand how diverse functions are integrated.
The Journal publishes original research reports, systematic reviews summarizing evidence that meets a set of pre-specified criteria, perspectives (opinions, narrative reviews), commentaries (topical questions), short communications (preliminary research articles), brief reports (under 5000 words), and letters to the editor.
The scope of Journal of Integrative Neuroscience is broad, encompassing numerous aspects of integrative neuroscience. The distinguishing feature of the Journal is to bridge the gap between neuroscience and other related fields. Please note that Journal of Integrative Neuroscience will not publish clinical, epidemiological, statistical, or meta-analysis studies that are unrelated to brain functioning.
Journal of Integrative Neuroscience will promote and disseminate studies categorized under the following themes and other areas related to the neurosciences:
- Neural Networks
- Molecular Neurobiology
- Behavioral Neuroscience
- Developmental Neurosciences
- Cognitive Neuroscience
- System Neuroscience
- Computational Neurosciences
- Clinical Neurology (Neurosurgery, Brain Disorders, Neurovascular Diseases, Stroke and etc.)
