Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Gynecologic oncology management has undergone numerous changes over the past decade, with a greater understanding of tumor biology and genetic patterns, novel targets for therapeutic intervention, better recognition of genetic mutations, and increasingly personalized therapeutic approaches. Genetics has become increasingly important in medical practice, with particular attention to ovarian and endometrial cancer., It is important to focus on the molecular and pathologic aspects of gynecologic neoplasms, the role of medical treatments and/or radiotherapy, and the clinical role of imaging in the pre-operative setting.

This Special issue of Clinical and Experimental Obstetrics & Gynecology is dedicated to focusing on the most important advancements in this challenging area, providing the scientific community information and updates that will improve the care of women with these challenging cancers.
