Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Menopausal women are increasingly the object of attention for gynecologists. Evidence exists that up to 49% of menopausal women will experience genitourinary symptoms such as vaginal itching, dryness, dyspareunia and incontinence. Vulvar and vaginal atrophy (VVA) are chronic medical conditions due to estrogen deficiency. There are numerous treatments available. It is important mandatory to adapt the specific treatment to each woman, considering medical history along with the anxieties and fears typical of women at this time in their lives.

We hope that the objective of scientific activity of this Special Issue is in this direction.
