Knowledge Organization (KO) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal and international forum for research on the organization of knowledge at both universal and domain-specific levels. The journal welcomes concept-analytical and concept-synthetical approaches, as well as quantitative and qualitative methodologies. KO addresses intellectual and automated methods for the design, application, and use of knowledge organization systems, including but not limited to classification systems and thesauri. The journal publishes original research articles, reviews, book reviews, editorials, and conference reports relevant to the field.
