Abstract

Uterine inversion is a rare and dangerous complication of labor. Although it can be reconstructed successfully with prompt intervention in acute stages, surgical interventions are usually mandatory in subacute or chronic phases. In this report we present a case of chronic uterine inversion, that was successfully treated with abdominal surgery.
