Aims & Scope

International Journal for Vitamin and Nutrition Research (IJVNR) is a peer-reviewed, open-access international journal that publishes nutrition research and is dedicated to advancing nutritional science and all associated topics to improve global health.

IJVNR welcomes submissions that address scientific questions at the molecular, cellular, biochemical, physiological, clinical, and population levels. Studies may include vitamins, minerals, other essential nutrients, bioactive compounds, functional foods, nutritional supplements, dietary patterns, or broader aspects of nutrition. Interdisciplinary research and studies with translational relevance to clinical practice and public health are also encouraged.

IJVNR publishes Original Communications, Review Articles, News and Views, Abstracts and Proceedings, Editorials, and Letters to the Editor.

IJVNR publishes research across a broad range of topics in nutritional science and health.

Areas of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Biochemistry and function of nutrients and food components
  • Nutrition and metabolism
  • Public and clinical nutrition
  • Maternal and child nutrition
  • Nutrition care and disease management

  • Emerging analyses or technologies and approaches, including artificial intelligence technology, that employ nutrition for disease prevention and health promotion.

IJVNR is of particular interest to nutritionists, vitaminologists, biochemists, physicians, engineers of human and animal nutrition, and food scientists.
