Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to announce a new Special Issue that collects evidence on how antioxidant supplementation can prevent oxidative stress-related diseases and help with their management.
Excessive free radical formation and/or a decrease in antioxidant defense systems could lead to oxidative stress conditions that play a key role in the development of various disorders, including cardiovascular pathologies, acute and chronic kidney diseases, neurodegenerative diseases, and cancer.
Many investigators have suggested that antioxidant supplementation or dietary intervention may help to prevent and manage oxidative stress-related damage.
We invite authors to submit reviews and original research articles describing potential nutritional approaches and innovative interventions for the management of oxidative stress in disease.
Contributions that present novel strategies and/or compounds to counteract oxidative stress is also highly encouraged.
