Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Over the past few decades, there has been a rapid development of advanced and basic research methods to understand endocrine system biology as well as clinical approaches to diagnose and treat its dysfunctions. Elucidating the metabolic, hormonal and biological mechanisms controlling endocrine system regulation in health and disease and its links to other body systems will take research and practical knowledge forward in an important step. The goal of this Special Issue is to collate original research articles, review articles and science guidelines that provide insights into the endocrine system at a genomic, molecular, biochemical and cellular level. Nowadays, understanding disease-related processes in the endocrine system of both animals and humans is crucial. The translational in vitro studies are important in advancing the field.
