We are pleased to announce that Professor Fei Gao has been appointed as Associate Editor of Reviews in Cardiovascular Medicine (RCM, Print ISSN: 1530-6550 | Electronic ISSN: 2153-8174). Her term started in May 2025.

Prof. Fei Gao, currently serving as the Executive Director of the Cardiopulmonary Vascular Disease Center at Beijing Anzhen Hospital, Capital Medical University, is a renowned expert in cardiovascular medicine. She earned her Ph.D. in Cardiovascular Medicine from Capital Medical University (2010–2013) and subsequently conducted postdoctoral research at the Cardiovascular Research Center of Columbia University in the United States (2014–2015).

Prof. Gao began her career at Beijing Anzhen Hospital, Capital Medical University, where she progressed through the ranks as a resident physician, attending physician, associate chief physician, chief physician, and associate professor. She has held key positions, including Deputy Director of the Emergency Coronary Heart Disease Center and Executive Director of the Cardiopulmonary Vascular Disease Center. Her research focuses on gene therapy for cardiovascular diseases, metabolic regulation, and AI-assisted diagnostic technologies. She has led multiple national and provincial-level research projects, including grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China and key programs of the Beijing Natural Science Foundation, dedicated to advancing innovative research in the field of cardiovascular medicine.
