Overview

International Journal of Pharmacology (IJP) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to publishing research across all areas of pharmacology. Founded in 2005, IJP provides broad coverage of all aspects of interactions between drugs and biological systems, encompassing cardiovascular pharmacology, neuropharmacology, cancer pharmacology, immunopharmacology, natural products pharmacology, drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics, toxicology, and other related fields. The journal serves a diverse readership, including pharmacologists, toxicologists, and other biomedical researchers, as well as clinicians, pharmacists, and healthcare professionals. IJP welcomes submissions of original research articles, reviews, systematic reviews, short communications, and letters to the editor.

Journal History

2005       International Journal of Pharmacology released the inaugural issue.

2009       International Journal of Pharmacology has been indexed by Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE).

2011       International Journal of Pharmacology received its first Impact Factor 1.503.

2025       IMR Press started to publish International Journal of Pharmacology (from Volume 21 Issue 4) which will continue to be available as open access under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license.
