Aims & Scope

Frontiers in Bioscience-Elite (FBE) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal mainly dedicated to applied biosciences, spanning biotechnology and applied microbiology. Founded in 2009, it serves as a bridge between fundamental biological research and practical applications in medicine, food, agriculture, industry, environment, and energy. The journal is intended for researchers in the field of biotechnology, microbiologists, bioengineers, scientists and technical professionals engaged in industrial, environmental, and medical microbiology. In addition to original research articles, FBE also considers other manuscript types such as short communications, systematic reviews, reviews, opinion articles and editorials.

Topics of interest include but are not limited to the following:

  • Methods and technological advances in biotechnology
  • Genetic engineering
