Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Despite the efforts for the management of neurological diseases, the findings of their multimodal development and affection to the patient through neurophysiologic pathways in the brain are still considered a challenging task. Even though significant progress has been made, neurodegeneration is difficult to be treated or even diagnosed in an early stage. Still, no cure has been found in disorders like Alzheimer's disease which leads scientific research towards the identification of early symptoms or alternative ways to delay the development of the disease. Thus, a lot of medical research has been done to identify biomarkers and to create effective drugs for the delaying of symptoms and lesions of the disease, using methods and techniques from scientific fields like Biomedical Informatics, Computational Biology, and Neuroinformatics etc.
