Aims & Scope

Frontiers in Bioscience-Scholar (FBS) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to the dissemination of high-quality research, mainly in the fields of genetics and genomics. Founded in 2009, FBS is dedicated to publishing studies spanning fundamental, translational, and applied genetics in humans, animals, plants, microorganisms, and diverse model systems. The journal’s readership includes geneticists, molecular and cellular biologists, developmental biologists, evolutionary biologists, bioinformaticians, clinicians, and other researchers and students in genetics. In addition to original research articles, FBS also considers other manuscript types such as short communications, systematic reviews, reviews, opinion articles and editorials.
