Aims & Scope

Alpha Psychiatry (AP) is an international, open-access, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to publishing research of scientific and clinical value in psychiatry, advancing understanding of the diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and underlying pathological mechanisms of mental disorders.  AP covers a broad range of topics in psychiatry and publishes a variety of article types, including Original Articles, Reviews, Editorials, Expert Opinions, Systematic Reviews, Study Protocols, Short Communications, Letters to the Editor, and Debates.

The journal’s target readership includes psychiatrists, mental health professionals, neuroscientists, and researchers working across the full spectrum of mental health disciplines.
