Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Pediatric cardiology is a medical specialty that involves the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of congenital and acquired cardiovascular dysfunction in the fetus, infant, child, adolescent, and young adult. A Special Issue entitled “New Frontiers in Pediatric Cardiology: Pathophysiology, Diagnosis and Treatment” aims to provide timely updates concerning the pathophysiology, diagnosis and treatment for academics, clinicians, healthcare managers and policymakers on all aspects germane to the understanding, management, and improvement of cardiovascular diseases in children. To expand the field of pediatric cardiology, more challenges need to be addressed and creative solutions need to be applied. It is our fervent hope that this Special Issue becomes a forum where people of various generations can freely propose new diagnostic and therapeutic approaches, such as the development of new treatment methods for diseases that remain difficult to treat or the investigation of the molecular underpinnings of disease states that have, so far, evaded elucidation.
