Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Patients with autoimmune rheumatic disease (ARDs) have a shortened life expectancy as compared to the rest of population mainly due to cardiovascular disease (CVD). The aim of this issue is to describe the symptomatology of CVD in ARD patients and the role of CV noninvasive imaging in the early diagnosis and treatment of ARDs.
