Overview

Die Pharmazie, founded in 1946, is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal of pharmaceutical sciences covering all areas of pharmacy, including Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Analysis, and Clinical Pharmacy. The journal serves a global readership across the pharmaceutical sciences, comprising pharmaceutical scientists, clinical pharmacists, drug development researchers, healthcare professionals, and pharmacy educators. Pharmazie welcomes submissions of original research articles, reviews, short communications, letters, and other types of contributions.

Journal History

1946       Die Pharmazie released the inaugural issue in German.

1947       Die Pharmazie has been indexed by Scopus.

1965       Die Pharmazie has been indexed by PubMed (MEDLINE).

1972       Die Pharmazie begins publication in both German and English languages.

1995       Die Pharmazie has been indexed by Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE)

1997       Die Pharmazie received its first Impact Factor 0.504.

2014       Die Pharmazie begins publication in English.

2020       Die Pharmazie turned into a full Open Access electronic journal under the the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license.

2026       IMR Press started to publish Die Pharmazie (from Volume 81 Issue 1) which will continue to be available as open access under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license.

Papers published in Volumes 58 Issue 1­–Volume 74 Issue 12 (from 2003 to 2019) are copyright IMR Press.

IMR Press grants any third party the right to use the article freely, so long as its integrity is maintained and its original authors, citation details and publisher are identified.

Permission is not required to use original figures or tables for non-commercial and educational use (e.g., in a review article, or in a book that is not for sale) if the article is copyright IMR Press.
