DJNB is Recruiting Early-Career Editorial Board Members

Digest Journal of Nanomaterials and Biostructures (DJNB, E-ISSN: 1842-3582, https://www.imrpress.com/journal/DJNB) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to advancing research on nanomaterials.

DJNB, founded in 2006, was indexed by Web of Science in 2007 and was included in Scopus in 2009, and the latest impact factor is 1.3. The current Editor-in-Chief is Prof. Carmen-Georgeta Ristoscu, affiliated with the National Institute for Lasers, Plasma and Radiation Physics, Romania.

To enliven the academic atmosphere of the journal and support the development of DJNB and early-career researchers, we are pleased to announce the recruitment of Early-Career Editorial Board members. We warmly welcome young faculty members, researchers, and scholars in the field of nanomaterials to join us and bring fresh energy to DJNB. Together, we will advance academic exchange and promote the continued development of this dynamic research field.

1.  Eligibility Criteria

  • Ph.D. degree obtained within the last 10 years in materials science, or related fields, with research interests closely aligned with the journal's scope.
  • Currently engaged in or interested in research related to nanomaterials and biostructures, holding a position at a university/research institute/other relevant academic institution.
  • Published at least two articles as the first author or corresponding author in journals indexed by Web of Science within the last three years.
  • Possess a strong passion for academia, a keen interest in cutting-edge materials research, and the time and commitment to actively contribute to the journal’s activities.

2. Benefits for Early-Career Editorial Board Members

  • An electronic certificate of appointment will be obtained.
  • Outstanding members may have the opportunity to be promoted to full editorial board members based on their contributions.
  • Manuscripts submitted by early-career editorial board members will enjoy certain discounts.
  • Opportunities to attend annual meetings and online seminars organized by the Editor-in-Chief and editorial board members.

3. Responsibilities of Early-Career Editorial Board Members

  • Manuscript Processing: Participate in manuscript pre-review and peer review processes.
  • High-Quality Paper Invitation: Actively solicit high-quality manuscripts based on the journal's category and academic needs, especially those focusing on cutting-edge research and hot topics.
  • Journal Promotion: Promote the journal among peers and at academic conferences.
  • Hot Topic Recommendation and Scope Assessment: Provide recommendations for hot topics for paper invitations and assess the scope of the submissions.
  • Other Duties: Include, but are not limited to, offering suggestions for journal development, such as recommending outstanding scholars to join DJNB and participating in social media promotion based on the academic strength of early-career editorial board members.
