Biostatistics Editor

We are seeking an experienced and professional Biostatistics Editor to join our editorial team for our journal. If you have a strong understanding of biostatistics, excellent editing skills, and a rigorous research background, we welcome you to apply for this position. This is a full-time editor position based in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

Review and validate the statistical methods, results, and data presentation in submitted manuscripts to ensure compliance with publication standards and journal requirements.
Coordinate communication with authors, reviewers, and other editors to ensure the smooth progress of the review process and the quality and integrity of published research.
Provide professional guidance on the application of biostatistical methods to ensure that statistical analyses meet scientific standards.
Participate in strategic planning and development of the journal's content, staying informed about the latest developments in biostatistics research.

Requirements:

A Ph.D. in Biostatistics, Statistics, Epidemiology, Public Health, or a related field.
At least 3 years of academic editing experience in biostatistics or a related field, with familiarity with the academic publishing process.
In-depth understanding of biostatistical methods, data analysis, and result interpretation, with the ability to independently review statistical analyses.
Proficiency with common statistical software, such as R, SAS, SPSS, GraphPad Prism, MedCalc, etc.
Strong team collaboration skills, excellent English communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and spoken English skills, with the ability to engage in academic writing and communication.
