We are pleased to announce that Professor Haiyang Li has been appointed as Editor-in-Chief of The Heart Surgery Forum (HSF, Print ISSN: 1098-3511 | Electronic ISSN: 1522-6662). His term started in March 2026.

Professor Haiyang Li is a distinguished cardiovascular surgeon and researcher. His main clinical and research interests include coronary artery disease surgery, aortic disease surgery, valvular surgery, minimally invasive CABG, and hybrid aortic surgery. He currently serves as Vice President of Beijing Anzhen Hospital, Capital Medical University, and Deputy Director of the Beijing Institute of Heart Lung and Blood Vessel Diseases. Prof. Li has extensive clinical experience in cardiovascular surgery, having performed over 10,000 cardiac surgeries as the lead surgeon, with no deaths in the most recent 2,100 consecutive cardiovascular operations. He has led more than 10 national and provincial research projects, producing significant scientific achievements and receiving multiple awards for science and technology progress.
