Dear Colleagues,
Herbal medicines have been used to treat human diseases for thousands of years and their demand around the world is increasing. The therapeutic activities are derived from medicinal plants (herbs) that contain natural bioactive compounds with multiple and often interconnected activities. The aim of this Special Issue is to explore novel insights into the efficacy of phytochemicals with the assistance of modern molecular tools. The scope includes but is not limited to anti-inflammation and anti-oxidative stress, as well as treatments for cancers, neurological diseases, liver diseases and cardiovascular diseases. Applications of nanotechnology and drug delivery systems are also covered.
