Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Breast cancer is the most common malignant tumor in women. With extensive research into the clinicopathological and molecular features of breast cancer, the survival of breast cancer has now been significantly improved.

In this Special Issue, we seek to highlight the role of locoregional and systemic management in breast cancer with curative or palliative intent. Controversies remain regarding axillary management, breast reconstruction, locoregional management in de novo stage breast cancer, postmastectomy radiotherapy in stage T1-2N0 disease, and the role of new pathological prognostic staging in treatment decision-making. In addition, identifying potential factors for predicting the effect of locoregional and systemic treatment are also worthy of further study.

For this Special Issue, we hope to provide new information on locoregional and systemic management in breast cancer that may contribute to improved outcomes for these patients.
