Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Reproductive surgery is an important in the diagnostic and/or therapeutic process in many women who suffer from subfertility or infertility. By definition, this is an invasive step for the affected women and, thus, it seems crucial that these interventions are performed for correct indications and lead to an optimized informative output and/or outcomes in terms of pregnancy and life birth. Without a doubt, high quality evidence is needed to fulfill these needs.

Among recent notable research were hysteroscopic techniques for Fallopian tube patency evaluation, hysteroscopy as a routine tool before in-vitro fertilization, robotic-assisted laparoscopy in reproductive surgery, the role of surgery for endometriosis, adenomyosis and fibroids on pregnancy rates and pregnancy outcome, management of pathologies of the Fallopian tubes, and many more.

The “Clinical and Experimental Obstetrics and Gynecology” journal would be happy if it could contribute to this issue which is of such high importance for female health. The goal of this special issue is to provide additional data and reviews about all aspects of reproductive surgery in women. We shall be happy to receive your manuscripts for peer-review.
