Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

This Special Issue, Prenatal Testing and Prediction of Adverse Perinatal Outcomes, aims to highlight recent advances in the early identification of pregnancies at risk for complications such as preeclampsia, fetal growth restriction, preterm birth, and stillbirth. The field of prenatal medicine is undergoing a rapid transformation with the integration of innovative approaches including advanced ultrasound imaging, maternal serum and placental biomarkers, non-invasive prenatal testing, and artificial intelligence–based risk stratification tools. Contributions are invited that explore novel diagnostic strategies, predictive modeling, cost-effectiveness analyses, and the real-world implementation of screening and preventive interventions, an example being aspirin prophylaxis. Both original research articles and comprehensive reviews are welcome. By bringing together diverse perspectives, this Special Issue seeks to provide clinicians, researchers, and policymakers with evidence to refine prenatal screening strategies and improve overall perinatal outcomes.
