Dear Colleagues,
The staff and editors at Clinical and Experimental Obstetrics and Gynecology (CEOG) are excited to announce a special edition of the journal in honor of the 50th anniversary of its first publication. When first founded, CEOG was an Italian Journal. Over time it has become international in scope, changing publishing houses and now finding a home with the IMR press. The journal has greatly improved in the last few years, limiting the publication of case reports to unique occurrences, and accepting a higher proportion of prospective studies, randomized control trials, and systematic meta-analysis reviews. This has resulted in significant increases in the impact factor of the journal and the citation index, reaching 0.40 in the most recent analysis. All articles undergo a rigorous peer review process resulting in many articles being rejected. This has resulted in an improved positioning for CEOG. Few journals make it 50 years in the publishing business, and it is an honor to include CEOG in this group. As such we are organizing a special 50th anniversary edition to highlight this achievement. For this edition, we are accepting high-quality articles, which will make an impact in all aspects of the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology. We welcome you to submit original research, review articles, and systematic reviews. Among these, prospective studies and systematic reviews will be preferred. We are looking forward to success over the next 50 years.
