Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Safety and health at work is an interdisciplinary research topic focused on the accidents and diseases suffered by workers because of their jobs. Occupational accidents and diseases are a worldwide cause of concern due to their negative impact on workers, companies, families and society. In several dangerous sectors such as construction, mining or industry, the majority of employees are men; gender differences are key factors in the incidents and accidents within these sectors. A better understanding of the causes of injuries suffered by male workers will be critical in improving occupational health and safety in the context of sexual disparities and working conditions.
Aligned with the objectives of the journal, this special issue will explore several issues of occupational safety and health of men at work. Original contributions are welcomed in the form of an original article, case report, commentary, and review on topics including but not limited to: Occupational risk assessment and management, characterization of worker accidents, accident models, monitoring workers at the workplace, and safety training of men.
Your contribution is welcome in form of an original article, case report, commentary, and review.
