Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Fueled by an explosion in the number of older adults, successful aging is now recognized as a critical health objective in today’s world. Without the implementation of appropriate approaches for society to increase the health and wellness of older adults, medical systems will not be able to efficiently serve the mental and physical needs of an aging population. This Special Issue focuses on highlighting the importance of aging and physical activity as prevention, treatment, and management strategies for promoting health and wellness in older populations through movement and other forms of physical activity. Further, this Special Issue will focus on males or gender differences between males and females in this area. Providing gender-specific insights into treating movement disorders within an aging population will be of particular interest to our readers.
