Aims & Scope

Frontiers in Bioscience-Scholar (FBS) is an international peer-reviewed open access journal of biological and medical sciences and a modern forum for scientific communication. The journal publishes reviews, invited reviews, original articles, commentaries on articles published, and hypothesis articles on any topic within the scope of the Journal.

The journal provides a platform where exchange of scientific information can take place freely among investigators, scientists, and physicians, to advance both science and basic, translational and clinical research. Publications in scientific journals are the principal means for dissemination of information in science. They are important to investigators since they reflect the extent of their scholarly activities, are needed for promotion, and are required to obtain grant funding. Given their significance, the journal considers all publications as important communications and strives to assist scientists deliver their academic and business mission to thousands of peers and decision-makers around the globe. To accomplish goals, attempts are made to post manuscripts online in as minimal a time possible after they have been accepted for publication.

The subject areas covered include biochemistry, molecular biology, genetics, botany, agronomy, microbiology, parasitology, entomology, marine biology, virology, immunology, ecology, evolutionary biology, bioinformatics, biotechnology, clinical and basic medicine, biomedical engineering, epidemiology and preventive medicine.
