Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

For this special issue of Gynecological Cancer, recent breakthroughs in the diagnosis and treatment of gynaecological cancer and associated issues will be highlighted. Research papers, case studies and reviews that showcase new surgical approaches for treating, detecting, or visualising gynaecological tumours during surgery are all welcome. Artificial intelligence and robotics are currently areas of intense research, and the breadth of this work is increasing. Research work that is focused on robotics is especially welcome for consideration. Moreover, submissions on intraoperative chemotherapy (HIPEC) and new surgical approaches for the administration of chemotherapy (NIPEC) are also welcome. Researchers in surgical gynaecological oncotherapy are urged to submit their findings, as well as their work on training and educational advancements. The practice of radical cancer surgery and of nerve and fertility sparing surgery has increased dramatically in recent years, hence more studies and assessments are urgently needed.
