Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Breast cancer can be characterized into hormonal positive, HER2 positive, and triple negative breast cancers. There are many factors that cause breast cancer such as genetic or chemical stress, ROS, environemental issues, genetic issues, etc. Specifically, the various interactions between the genes or proteins create different breast cancers making it hard to treat the patients. Therefore, we place a higher focus on this particular area of research. To overcome breast cancer, we study a wide spectrum of breast cancer such as the cause of breast cancer, how the genes or proteins interact with each other (mechanism), and new targeted therapies that could be helpful. Currently, many treatments such as chemotherapy, radiation, surgery, immunotherapy, etc. are being used for breast cancer patients. However, there still remains problems for the treatments. Our ultimate goal is to find the best therapy for patients so that they do not go through side effects. We also welcome new therapeutic, skills, or diagnosis methods to treat breast cancer. We hope that these experiments will contribute to the higher quality of breast cancer treatment and diagnosis.
