Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Gynecopathology is the ultra-specialized branch of pathology focused on the diagnosis of both benign and malignant gynecological diseases by means of histology, cytology, histochemistry, immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridization and molecular biology.

In some circumstances the biopsy or surgical specimen and the cytological picture can be difficult to interpret, setting up real diagnostic challenges for the gynecopathologist.

The aim of this Special Issue is to collect contributions about difficult histopathological and/or cytopathological diagnoses in the gynecological oncology field. Original research or systematic review are especially welcome.
