Abstract

The AA. have specified by analytic method, a mathematical formula which allows to eva-luate the fetal weight in uterus, by the echo-graphic measurement of two parameters. The operative control carried out on 39 pregnant women at term, within 10 days after delivery, has given a probable error of about 100 g/kg of fetal body mass. The formula suggested, when compared with those of other AA., has the advantage of a simple execution and an acceptable precision of results.
