Abstract

The trend of prolactin secretion, in relation with the “rooming in” practice, has been studied in a group of 12 puerperae. The prolactin plasma levels were not mo-dified by the influence of the affective-emotional stimulus, probably because the favourable envi-ronmental conditions had not been realized.
