Abstract

The Computerized Axial Tomography (CAT) is a new method of radiologic investigation which is an important contribution to the staging of malignant tumors of the female genital organs and the differential diagnosis of expansive pro-cesses of the pelvis. The results obtained from the evaluation of neoplastic relapse and formu-lation of radiotherapic treatment plans show the undeniable need for this method.
