Abstract

Significance and incidence of cervical lesions colposcopically suspect. The Authors report the experiences of the Colposcopic centre of the Obstetric and Gynaecological Clinic of Trieste’s University, which confirms the validity of the diagnostic role of this type of examination, particularly in providing a clinical distinction between cervical lesions colposcopically interpreted and lesions in which only the cytologic and/or bioptic drawings can clarify the nature.
